We know how important proper support and the right firmness of a mattress is for your child. The Rucken pram mattress is made from two types of foam:

• Purple antibacterial VitaRest® HR 35/32 foam with "Ultra Fresh" certification

This foam remains hygienic and odour-free for a long time. Bacteria, fungi and mould do not develop on the surface or inside the mattress. The foam is especially recommended for infants and allergy sufferers. Numerous tests confirm that this foam provides an exceptional ventilating effect for your sleeping baby, reduces sweating and pressure on the most prominent parts of the spine, ensuring healthy and comfortable sleep.

• White T25 density foam with a wave profile

This foam guarantees resistance to deformation, even with intensive use. It is ideal for children who prefer firmer sleeping or for playtime. It provides excellent resilience and stable back support.

Air Pro – Integrated Ventilation System for Healthy Sleep

We have designed an integrated ventilation system in our mattress, consisting of:

• Vertical ventilation channels
• A wave profile applied to the white foam. The wave profile on the upper side reduces the foam firmness from H3 to H2 and ensures excellent air circulation.
• Genuine 3D mesh on one side of the cover, which enhances ventilation throughout the entire mattress.

Free airflow helps maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature, reduces unnecessary awakenings, minimises the risk of bacterial growth, ensuring your child enjoys healthy sleep throughout the night.

Hydro MAX Cover – Effectively Slows Liquid Penetration and Breathes

The mattress cover consists of two parts:

• Tencel Hydro MAX (white side)
• Breathable 3D mesh (grey side)

Tencel is a natural, premium fabric that is warm like wool, soft like silk, and yet more absorbent than cotton. It has anti-allergenic and antibacterial properties.  Tencel expertly controls moisture levels, absorbing and releasing up to 50% more water vapour than cotton.

The Hydro MAX fabric is coated with a special wax that effectively slows the penetration of liquids. If a nappy leaks, moisture is isolated from the baby's skin, providing a feeling of comfort. The unique construction also ensures full ventilation. 

The breathable 3D mesh is integrated with the wave profile and horizontal ventilation channels, which means it effectively enhances ventilation throughout the entire mattress. It guarantees comfortable and healthy sleep for your little one.

Removable Cover – Washable at up to 60°C

The cover features a sewn-in zip. This allows you to conveniently remove and refit it. The highest quality construction means it can be washed at 60 degrees without any concern about losing its shape or properties.

Our products are manufactured 100% in Poland, which means every detail is carefully monitored at each stage of production. All mattress components are certified to Öko-Tex Standard 100.

Products awarded the Öko-Tex Standard 100 mark are free from harmful substances at concentrations that could negatively affect human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, prohibited azo dyes and extractable heavy metals.

Rücken mattress foams are precision-cut on site with the utmost care, under the watchful eye of experienced technologists, at one of the most modern cutting facilities in Poland.
