A wooden doll bed on wheels.
The headboard and footboard are decorated with four-leaf clovers. The bed comes with cotton bedding featuring a reversible print: a pillow and a combined sheet and duvet. The stripes and checks on the bedding are inspired by the designs of Carl and Karin Larsson, for whom these were signature patterns. The four-leaf clover motif comes from the wall paintings in their home. The pillow and duvet-sheet set feature the same subdued, neutral yellow tone. Each side of the bedding is decorated with a different pattern: checks or stripes. The combination creates a pleasing visual effect. The four-leaf clover is a frequent decoration on walls and furniture in the Lilla Hyttnäs villa. There is even a wall painting depicting four children against a four-leaf clover background. We liked this composition so much that we chose it as the hallmark of the entire collection. After all, everyone knows that a four-leaf clover brings good luck to whoever owns it! Lotta Hallenius, our designer, recalls seeing the four-leaf clover shape in many decorations at Lilla Hyttnäs, such as wall paintings and embroidered details. So this shape became the graphic symbol of our Carl Larsson collection. It can symbolise a family with children — regardless of what that family looks like.
