Warnings and Safety Information for BeSafe Go Beyond² with Beyond Base Set
- The BeSafe Go Beyond² with Beyond Base set MUST NOT be installed on the front seat WITH AN ACTIVE AIRBAG.
- When driving with a child seated in the car seat, the BeSafe Go Beyond² with base set must always be positioned rear-facing. Never drive with the seat rotated sideways when a child is sitting in the seat.
- Harness straps must always be fastened when a child is in the seat.
- Harness straps must be tightened without slack and must not be twisted.
- Make sure the straps are tightly fastened so that no horizontal fold can be made on the straps.
- Replace the BeSafe Go Beyond² with base set if it was involved in a collision at 10 km/h or higher, or if damage is suspected.
- Never leave a child unattended in the car seat.
- Make sure luggage and other items are properly secured. Unsecured luggage can cause serious injury in case of an accident.
- DO NOT attempt to disassemble, modify or add any parts to the product. The warranty will be voided if non-original parts are used.
- Never use the car seat without the cover. The cover is a safety element and may only be replaced with an original BeSafe cover.
- DO NOT use the car seat for more than 15 years. Due to material ageing, its quality may change.
- DO NOT use at home. The car seat has not been designed for home use and may only be used in a vehicle.
- Before driving, the carry handle must always be set to the vertical carrying position.
- Always install and remove the Beyond Base with the car seat detached to facilitate manoeuvring.
- When installing on an aircraft seat, make sure the car seat is in the upright position (NOT in the flat lying position) and the carry handle is raised.
